‘내 인생을 음악으로 말한다’ 라고 항상 말해왔다. 코로나가 극심하던 2020년 말, 공연을 못하니 방구석에서 제작이나 하자라는 마인드로 곡 작업을 했드랬다. 그러다가 몰스킨 노트와 라미 만년필이 생각나서 상념들을 자꾸 끄적여 보았다. 최근에 읽은 책에서 대중들은 이제 오리지널을 원한다고 한다. 모두가 아날로그로 돌아가는 중이고 기업들은 그런 ‘하이터치’ 를 넣은 제품으로 마케팅 중이라고 한다.

 

13년 전 손글씨와 에세이를 넣은 진성윤 솔로 1집 ‘New Folk’ 를 떠올린다. 나의 손글씨와 노트는 새로운 것이 아니다. 항상 하던 짓 이었다. 하지만 이 앨범으로 나는 마음이 전혀 새롭다. ‘세상과 타협하지 않은 Original 로 세상을 움직이는’ 아직은 이런 마인드에 휩싸여 있다. 나의 인생은 어디까지 다다를까, 나의 오리지널은 변할까?.. 생각해 본다.

 

아날로그 4트랙짜리 테이프 레코더가 장난 같이 나타났다. 그냥 테이프, 모두가 아는 그 평범한 테이프에 녹음하는 그런 장비였다. 여행하다가 신기해서 무심코 일본에서 구입했던 TASCAM Tape Recorder. 이것을 가지고 앨범의 주요 3곡을 녹음했다. 그것도 라이브 레코딩으로 원테크에 말이다. 아이디어는 간단했다. ‘다른 소리’ 를 원했기 때문이다. 누구나 하는 그런 녹음 장비와 녹음 방식을 원하지 않은 것이 그 아이디어였다. 겉보기에 약간은 허접하지만 음악적으로는 ‘로우파이(LoFi)’ 라는 멋진 해석들이 있지 않은가? 우리는 그 ‘저음질의 예술적 작업’ 을 시도해 보기로했다.

 

‘jinsungyoon LP’ 정규앨범의 흐름은 위와 같다. 생각해보니 지금 할 수 있는 방식으로, 그저 가지고 있는것 그대로를 사용해서 오버하지 않았다고 생각된다. 또한 아날로그를 새롭고도 참신한 아이디어로 활용하려 애를 썼다고 본다. 앨범의 완성을 위해 몰스킨 노트와 라미 만년필을 사서 이 앨범의 가사와 에피소드와 디자인을 그려나갔었으니까. 싱어송라이터, 진성윤씨는 이렇게 오랫만에 정규앨범으로 돌아왔다. 그의 음악으로 그의 인생을 말하는 것은 물론이고, 그의 음악으로 이 시대를 말하고 있다고 생각된다. 구차한 것은 앞으로 하지 않을 예정이라고 한다. 그렇게 새로운 진성윤을 그려나가보려고 한단다. 부디 jinsungyoon 씨의 작품으로 여러분의 진짜 인생에 다시 한번 눈 뜨기를 바란다.

    A. Exchange/Return

    • The color of the product may differ slightly from the actual color depending on the monitor specification, and the location or color of the product label may differ from the image.
    • For exchange/refund due to missing and defective components, the delivery box and product opening (including components) video are essential. (If there is no opening video, exchange or refund may be difficult.)
    • The opening video should be filmed so that all sides of the box can be seen before opening and the product opening scene is complete.
    • In the case of product defects, marks of less than 5mm and scratches, presses, and marks that may be found in the product process are not subject to exchange or return.
    • In the case of prints/cloths and portrait products, defects other than portraits, such as the back, background, and scratches, presses and prints that may occur during the process are not subject to exchange or return.
    • All products can only be exchanged/refundable if they are visible defects without light reflection.
    • In the case of PVC products, due to the nature of the material, defects such as deformation of shape or sticking between PVCs may occur depending on the influence of the surrounding environment (temperature and humidity), and are not subject to exchange or return.
    • All packages are sent by post office courier by our company, so if you want an exchange or return, you have to deliver them directly by post office courier

    B. Exchange/return period

    • Any exchange or refund due to a simple change of mind is not possible.
    • For defective/exchange requests, you must contact us within 3-7 days of receiving the product.
    • If there is a defect in the product, such as delivery error, damage, or defect, it can be received through the homepage chat function or Kakao Talk channel "Mamasei Record" within 3 days from the date of receipt

    C. If exchange/return is not possible

    • More than 3 days after receiving the product
    • If the value of the product has decreased (damage to the package, laundry, product stain, perfume smell, deodorant smell, gift damage, component damage, usage trace, etc.)
    • When the value of the product has been significantly reduced by the use of the buyer or some consumption
    • In the case of products that have been notified of non-exchange/refundable on the detailed page, such as custom-made products or event-related records
    • In the case of damage to the packaging of reproducible goods, etc
    • If there are traces of use or damage even if the product is misdelivered or defective
